Getting started
How your account and profile work, your profile address and the wizard that sets everything up in minutes.
Every account has one profile at /your-name, regardless of plan. Name: 3-30 characters, lowercase letters, digits, hyphen and underscore. After signing up, confirm your e-mail, add links and pick a template.
- The dashboard has a tab for every part of the profile. Changes are saved automatically and go live on your profile right away; the preview shows the result on phone and desktop.
- You can change your profile address in the Links tab once every 30 days. The previous address redirects to the new one for 7 days and stays reserved, after which someone else may take it. Words used by the service (e.g. wiki, shop, api) are reserved.
- Links from another link-in-bio page (e.g. Linktree, Beacons) can be imported with one click. They are added as disabled so you can review them.
- The "First steps" checklist in the dashboard guides you through the key settings and disappears once everything is done.
- The panel menu is grouped: Profile, Earnings and stream, Audience, Advanced and Account. On a phone you pick a group first, then a tab.
Quick start wizard
After sign-up the wizard asks who you are (streamer, musician, creator, seller, educator, artist, podcast, organisation, business), helps you add a photo, bio, template and links, and finally switches on the features you chose. The Links tab shows a starter checklist with progress; you can restart the wizard from it.
Set the profile photo and background (image, GIF or short video with dimming) in the Appearance tab. Files come from your library.
In the panel: Start
Panel → Start and using the panel → Start
Start shows your profile address, the "First steps" list, counters (links, unread messages, the support queue, plan) and shortcuts to the most common tasks.
Changes show up in the preview right away and reach your public profile after you click "Save changes" (or Ctrl+S). "Discard" restores the last saved state.
Ctrl+K (or "/") opens the settings search. On long pages the first two cards are open and the rest are collapsed to their titles; the panel remembers which ones you opened. On a phone the sections are on the bottom bar and the "Preview" button opens the preview.
In the panel: More features
Panel → Start and using the panel → More features
Here you turn on the modules you need: support, LIVE status, shop, memberships, bookings, music, newsletter, filters, custom code, automations and API. An enabled module appears in the menu of its section.
Turning a feature off only hides it from the menu. Settings and data stay, and your profile works as before.
This guide describes how the panel works. Information about personal data, taxes and sales is informational only and is not legal or tax advice: consult a lawyer or an accountant about your situation.
